1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) forms part of Voice Feeling LLC’s Terms and conditions. It covers accounts, demonstrations, recordings, URLs, API access, results, integrations and authorized users. It applies alongside law and relevant agreements and does not create exceptions to legal prohibitions.
2. Authorization before analysis
You must have the right to supply content and a legitimate purpose, inform recorded people and obtain the required authorization or legal basis before capturing, transmitting or analyzing. Meet and be able to demonstrate applicable all-party consent, explicit consent or written-evidence requirements.
Covert recording, unexpected surveillance and incompatible reuse of recordings are prohibited. Public availability, file possession, a working URL or account-holder consent alone do not establish other people’s rights.
The account-free trial must be voluntary and use your own voice, avoiding capture of others. Age and legal-capacity requirements apply. Organizational recordings also require assessment of employment, communications and data protection obligations.
3. Responsible interpretation
Use indicators as contextual support and review sample quality and limitations. Do not present a score as a proven fact about someone’s mind, health, personality, honesty, intention or guilt.
Do not conceal the automated nature of analysis where disclosure is required. Do not fabricate outputs, attribute someone else’s measures to a person, selectively remove context to harm them, or market reports with unsupported accuracy or efficacy claims.
4. High-impact decisions
Do not use results as the sole basis, or a decisive basis without independent verification, for hiring, dismissal, discipline, promotion, compensation, educational admission, credit, insurance eligibility or coverage, healthcare, exercise of public powers or decisions with legal or comparable effects.
Do not use the service to diagnose, assess emergencies, decide treatment, establish fraud or crime, predict criminality from personal traits, determine creditworthiness or replace legally required professional assessments. The service is not offered as a medical device, emergency tool, consumer reporting agency or authorized system for those decisions.
Human review must be genuine, competent and able to challenge results. Adding a person to a process does not legalize prohibited use.
5. Workplaces, education and AI rules
Using the service to infer people’s emotions in workplace or educational settings is prohibited where the use falls under Article 5(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 or an equivalent applicable prohibition. Consent, coaching purposes, human review or a different product name are not general exceptions.
These Terms do not offer a medical or safety use that enables reliance on that provision’s narrow exceptions. A component’s deterministic nature must not be assumed to exclude the whole service or your use case from a rule. Regulated use requires sufficient legal and technical assessment and, where applicable, express contractual approval beforehand.
Applicable duties to inform people exposed to emotional analysis or recognition systems must be met.
6. Discrimination, manipulation and surveillance
Inferring or classifying race, ethnicity, religion, political opinions, union membership, sex life, sexual orientation, disability or other protected characteristics, or discriminating through them or their proxies, is prohibited.
Do not exploit vulnerability arising from age, disability, distress or economic circumstances; coerce; induce harmful decisions through deception; harass; conduct unlawful debt collection; or build social scoring, mass surveillance or unauthorized personal tracking.
Creating identification or authentication voiceprints, comparing voices with identity databases, inferring protected identity or combining results with other sources to reidentify data that must remain anonymous is prohibited.
7. Excluded content and minimization
Do not deliberately supply minors’ voices or data. Do not submit unlawfully obtained material, content infringing others’ rights, unauthorized privileged communications, regulated clinical data without an enabling agreement, or information requiring safeguards the service has not agreed to provide.
Exclude full card numbers, credentials, identity documents and unnecessary intimate information. Do not distribute exploitation, threats, harassment or illegal material through the service. Possessing or alleging consent does not replace additional sensitive-data requirements.
8. Security and operation
Do not attempt to access accounts, organizations, files, links or systems without permission. Do not distribute malware, extract secrets, force credentials, evade controls, interfere with availability or perform intrusive tests outside expressly authorized scope.
Do not misuse ingestion URLs to reach unauthorized resources or internal networks. Do not publish keys, tickets or private links. Webhooks and integrations must address systems you control or are authorized to use.
Do not evade quotas, restrictions, security measures or charges through multiple accounts, misleading identities or abusive automation. Do not resell, sublicense or offer a substitute service interface without an agreement permitting it. Restrictions respect mandatory legal exceptions for interoperability, research or equivalent rights.
9. Sharing and exports
Share results only with authorized recipients for purposes compatible with the information given to people. Check permissions before downloading, forwarding or integrating reports. Exported files no longer benefit from the platform’s access controls.
Do not remove limitation or privacy notices to make misleading conclusions. Do not use names, brands, certifications or provider relationships to imply approval, exclusivity or capabilities that do not exist.
10. Reporting problems
Report abuse, attribution errors, minors’ data, unauthorized access or authority requests through the stated contact channel. Use minimum identifiers and context; do not send sensitive audio or credentials through ordinary email.
If results appear defective or the context makes analysis inappropriate, stop the affected use and request review. Responsible reporting does not authorize expanded testing or access to other people’s information.
11. Measures and review
We may investigate indications of noncompliance, request reasonable evidence of authorization, limit features, restrict content access or proportionately suspend accounts. Urgent measures may precede notice where risk, law or preservation of an investigation requires.
Where possible, we will explain the reason and correction or review options. You may complain through the contact channel. Measures will respect mandatory rights, confidentiality and data duties. This AUP does not guarantee prior inspection of every item or absence of misuse.
12. Changes and mandatory law
Updates follow the Terms’ notice mechanism. The stricter rule legally required for your case always applies; technical availability of a feature does not establish that your jurisdiction or context permits it.
